Using Roame's SkyView product, we can quickly and easily search for lie-flat business class options from North America to Europe.
In doing so, we see a multitude of fantastic lie-flat business class options flying on Air France and KLM, costing only 50,000 points in each direction.
For direct comparison purposes, let's look at the Air France route going from JFK to CDG. If you were to pay this out of pocket, it would cost you $4,103 at minimum—ouch.
If you didn't transfer your points and chose to book in a travel portal like Capital One's instead, this would cost you ~410,300 points. If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve and booked this flight via their portal, it could cost you ~273,533 points. That's a lot of points!
