This 36sq m ground floor room has large bay windows overlooking the courtyard, with direct views of Mount Wellington. Inside, a sense of grandeur is summoned through elegant design and hand-pick period furniture; there's a beautiful Sheraton revival wardrobe and matching dressing table, ornate mirrors, a marble fireplace, generous antique writing desk and a classic armchair for long, literary afternoons. In the bedroom, a king-size bed is topped with a sprung mattress handmade by local specialists and dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton. The spacious bathroom is accessed via a concealed 'jib' door and features a large marble jacuzzi that doubles as a shower. You'll also find bathrobes, an ironing board, minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
