What are Roame Alerts?
Roame Alerts are a powerful tool to help you lock in the best award flights. Whether you’re planning a vacation months in advance or hoping to snag last-minute availability, Roame Alerts will notify you by email as soon as award seats become available on your chosen route using SkyView to frequently check availability. Once an award seat that meets your criteria is found, Roame sends you an email notification so you can book it right away. No more endless searching—just sit back and wait for the deal to come to you.

Example Video of How to Set and Edit Alerts
Let’s walk through an example of how this process works: what if we want to depart from San Francisco (SFO) and go to Tokyo (TYO) in business class during cherry blossom season? Being able to set alerts can be an extremely powerful way to find the best deals and save a lot of time.
Troubleshooting Alerts: Common Issues
Are you having issues with Alerts? Let's see if we can help you troubleshoot these problems.
Why Can’t I See the Availability on the Airline’s Website?
Roame Alerts work by doing a routine search of user-set alert routes. While these alerts are sent out when we find them, oftentimes, award space disappears quickly because there is limited availability. So, the deal you were alerted to may no longer be available. Always check the “last seen” indicator in the live view search from your alert email to understand when Roame found the availability.
I'm Getting Too Many Alerts!
To avoid getting overwhelmed with emails, fine-tune your alert settings:
- Number of Stops: Reduce this limit to avoid itineraries with multiple stopovers.
- Premium Percentage: Set this higher if you want to avoid mixed-class fares.
- Fees: Lower the fees filter to avoid alerts with high surcharges.
- Points: Adjust the points filter so you don’t receive alerts for flights that require too many points.
Important Note: Avoid Marking Roame Alerts as Spam
To ensure you continue to receive alerts, please do not mark Roame alert emails as spam. Marking our emails as spam can cause your email provider to block all future notifications from Roame, meaning you’ll miss out on important alerts for award availability and travel deals. If you ever want to adjust your alerts, you can do so directly within your account instead of marking emails as spam. This way, you’ll still have access whenever you’re ready to jump back into the search for your next trip!
