What can a booking commission represent?
Online travel agencies (OTAs) can earn commissions from hotels. For example, Booking.com explains that accommodation providers pay it a commission after a stay. This can be part of the booking price, rather than an extra fee charged to the guest.

When an eligible rebate credit is applied to your Stays quote, it reduces the booking price shown before you confirm. It is not a promise of a separate cash payment after your trip. Review the credit terms and the final total at checkout.
Do I need a membership to use Stays?
You can explore Stays before choosing a membership. Sign in to see the benefits and credits available to your account and to complete a booking. Some savings depend on your membership; check the current membership details and your quote rather than assuming every rate includes the same discount.
Can I use every credit on every hotel booking?
No. Credits have eligibility rules and may have usage limits or restrictions on combining them. The credits available for a particular quote can differ from your overall account balance. Review the applied credits and amount due before confirming.
Are taxes and hotel fees included?
Review both the booking total and any separately disclosed charges due at the property. Some taxes or hotel-imposed charges may be collected by the hotel and are not part of your booking payment. A nightly headline alone is not enough to compare the full cost.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Cancellation and refund terms depend on the specific rate you select. Check the deadline, time zone, and any penalty before booking. Your booking details show the available cancellation options; do not assume that every rate is refundable or that different rooms share the same policy.
Will I earn hotel loyalty points or receive elite benefits?
Do not assume a booking through Roame qualifies for hotel loyalty points, elite-night credit, or status benefits. Eligibility depends on the hotel program and the booked rate. Check with the hotel or loyalty program before relying on those benefits.
Is my room confirmed as soon as I see a price?
No. Availability and prices can change before booking. Check the latest quote at checkout and use your booking’s confirmation status as the reference after submitting. If the room requires concierge assistance, follow that process; a concierge inquiry is not a confirmed reservation.
Who helps if I have a booking problem?
Contact Roame support with your booking reference for help with a Stays reservation. Your booking details are the starting point for confirmation, payment, and cancellation information. For requests during your stay, such as room service or housekeeping, speak with the hotel directly.
