This double room has a cosy window seat overlooking the garden – the perfect place to lose yourself in a book from the library. Lebanese interior designer Nur Kaoukji’s design keeps things modern and minimal, but Indian touches like the teardrop shaped bedhead ensure its still rooted in tradition. The room’s colour scheme is informed by the Spinel gemstone: pink and reddish accents appear on the double bed, mid-century modern armchair and artwork. The room also has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower; free WiFi; a Bluetooth speaker; air-conditioning; free bottled water and Kama bath products.
