Inspired by the ‘earth clan’ of gardeners, carpenters, miners and blacksmiths, villas emulate traditional cottages, albeit in more luxurious fashion. An expanse of rainforest stretches out below the super-sized stays (126sq m), and with a terrace and private pool, and an outdoor shower, there’s ample opportunity to admire the verdure. There’s a four-poster in the bedroom – decked out in tribal prints and natural wood accents – and floor-to-ceiling windows. The ensuite is equally earthy, with stone floors and bamboo decorations, with a monsoon shower and separate egg-shaped bath tub, and twin sinks. Guests can book a one-bed or two-bed villa in this category, and all villas have a flatscreen TV in the bedroom, iPod dock, free WiFi, minibar, bottled water, air-conditioning, a kettle and cafetiére, and Siam Botanicals bath products.
