Airy and bright, these 24–29sq m rooms have a double or twin beds. They’re decorated with mid-century flair, with sleek furniture, bold artwork from local artists and Portuguese cups and saucers. Guests are treated to a cocktail trolley with a DIY gin and tonic kit created by the hotel’s mixologist, as well as vintage-inspired Couto toothpaste. Separated from the bedroom by a partition wall, the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower. There’s also free WiFi, a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, bathrobes and slippers, free bottled water and soft drinks in the minibar, and Claus Porto toiletries.
