The Chute
This charming 210sq ft room, in the main inn, has decor inspired by the lumber chute used by Newport’s wood-workers – Arts and Crafts-style wood panelling and a gas fire give it a historic feel. It has sweeping ocean views, a soft California king bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. This room is just steps away from the shared roof deck and hot tub built into the ranch’s old water tower, and there’s a TV lounge downstairs (rooms are TV-free) and you'll get a free glass of sparkling wine on arrival. There's also free WiFi, a radio, bathrobes, desk, free bottled water, tea- and coffee-making kit and Red Flower bath products.
