Paying homage to the area’s mighty redwoods – and set in their namesake, Redwood House – this timber-lined 969sq ft suite has a double-height living area supported by two giant trunks. And extensive glazing means you get breathtaking south-western views of the Pacific and coastal prairie. You can also admire the surroundings from a private deck with a dining set, barbecue and a four-person hot tub. Indoors, there’s an open-plan dining space and living room with a wood-burning stove and flatscreen TV, plus a full kitchen with an oven, grill, dishwasher and fridge. There are two bedrooms, decorated in charming rustic style, each with a soft queen-size bed; and two ensuites each have a walk-in shower. Staying here, you’ll have access to all the main inn’s shared spaces and Redwood House’s shared second-floor hot tub, and you’ll have free WiFi, a radio, bathrobes, desk, free bottled water, tea- and coffee-making kit and Red Flower bath products. You’ll get a free glass of sparkling wine on arrival too, and on request, this suite interconnects with the Newport Suite and Bird House Suite for a group stay.
