Interior-designer owner Pascale’s love of detail is envisioned in these 38 to 46sq m suites. She has a keen eye for antique French armoires and writing desks, lavish ways to frame a bed (with an oversized velvet headboard, say, or a trompe-l'œil arch), statement light fittings and mid-century seating. Each of these rooms has high ceilings and restored frescoes and parquet flooring, plus a large king-size bed (which can be twinned on request) and a bathroom with a huge bath tub, walk-in shower and twin sinks. One of these suites has a stone fireplace, and another has a terrace which overlooks the enclosed garden. A free bottle of house olive oil awaits guests on arrival and they’ll also have an iPad Pro loaded with useful info, free high-speed WiFi, a minibar with free soft drinks, linen bathrobes and slippers and free Fragrart bath products.
