Set on the original piano nobile floor, these double-height rooms have large windows with city views. Named after the Pietro family crest, they’re perhaps the most eye-catching rooms, too, with coloured-marble mosaic flooring, custom wallpaper imprinted with golden hot-air-balloons, pendant lights and a black spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom, with a soft double bed, on the mezzanine level. There’s a lounge on the lower level with a green-velvet-upholstered sofa, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and speakers, and some suites have a traditional gallarija balcony too. Each of the four suites has a Smart LCD TV, USB charging ports, an espresso machine, tea-making kit, minibar, laptop safe, slippers and flip-flops, air-conditioning, bathrobes, a full range of bath kit (his ‘n’ hers L’Occitane products, toothbrush, shaving kit…) and free WiFi.
