While I was at the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, I figured I’d make a quick stop at the SATS Premier Lounge right across the hallway to get a sense of the other lounge options available at the hotel. This lounge is a bit easier to access than some of the other options out there, so it’s worth considering, especially considering the wide variety of credit cards that Roame users have.

How I Accessed The SATS Premier Lounge

The SATS Premier Lounge can be accessed using Priority Pass Select, which is a lounge pass offered by many premium travel credit cards. In my particular case, I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve®’s Priority Pass card, allowed me to bring up to 2 guests per lounge visit.

When I entered the front desk, the agent asked for my Priority Pass card and me + my friend’s boarding passes. After some typing in the background, the agent asked for me to sign something and we were able to get in pretty smoothly.
The SATS Premier Lounge: Bigger And Better Than I Expected
Despite being a Priority Pass lounge, the SATS Premier Lounge was larger than I expected. There was a general seating area, a food/dining area, and a separate room for reservations.
Not only that, you could also get a massage via some massage chairs or access an exclusive, private VIP room (I am not too sure how to access the VIP room).
I was actually pretty impressed by the bathroom. Despite the high visitor load, the bathroom was in very good shape, with many easy to access showers. It smelled good and fresh overalll.
The Food: Good Variety, But Not Very High Quality
I was pretty shocked to see the wide variety of foods available at this lounge. Not only was there a salad section and desserts area, but there was a pretty deep lineup of hot buffet items. While the quality of the foods here wasn’t the absolute greatest, there were still some gems, including the pepper chicken and the baked basa. I also found the “bar” kind of funny—it was just an array of hard alcohols that you could just self pour.
There was also a “signature Laksa” area, where they premade noodle dishes for you to pour some soup into. The drinks refrigerator also had a great variety of drinks, including coke and beers.
I tried a little bit of each food and thought it was alright. Nothing special,, but definitely edible and could be very filling in volume.
My Overall Rating Of The SATS Premier Lounge T2: 6/10
I rate lounges based on a few general criteria:
  • Food Quality & Variety: 6/10
  • Cleanliness: 8/10
  • Interior Design: 5/10
  • Unique Amenities: 6/10
This is definitely a top tier Priority Pass lounge. There is a great food variety and the entire area is kept in pretty clean shape. Amenities wise, this lounge has several that caught my eye, including the reserved area, the VIP space, and the massage chairs. The design of the lounge is nice and the bathrooms were also in great condition.
Conclusion
For a Priority Pass lounge, the SATS Premier lounge exceeded all my expectations. I was expecting to flame this lounge into infinity, but it definitely did a great job surprising me on several fronts. With awesome food options, clean bathrooms + showers, amenities, and more, this is a great way to kill some time at Singapore’s Changi Airport.
