Carved into the lava field, these 40sq m suites are so close to the rock that you can reach out and touch it from your private terrace. The sleek, Scandinavian interiors are influenced by the dramatic landscape beyond the windows, borrowing its earthy shades from the mossy rock. Each suite has a king-size bed, two high-backed armchairs and a freestanding bath tub with a view of the volcanic landscape; there?s also an open-plan ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Because of the direct access to the water, children under nine can?t stay in this room. The suite also has a tablet; Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker; minibar; Illy coffee machine; tea-making kit; free bottled water; underfloor heating and Blue Lagoon Iceland bath products.
